New York City Dilemna

So I found myself in some New York museum
Staring at some portrait on a wall
I told the girl right next to me that it was like a symphony
Like dancing with a princess at a ball.

And she said " This is a gallery, not a museum.
A portrait is a painting ,not a song.
You seem to be a bit confused, and I hate to see fine art abused,
so why don't you and I just move along."

And I said " Whoa now! I donÕt even know your name."
She said " That doesnÕt matter in this day and age,
weÕre all living in the city and playing the same game."
She said " We could have a good time tonight."
I said " I really have to go."

So we sipped Cappuccino at a Soho Psychadelicatessen
She told me that my Chakras really filled a room
Now that so much didnÕt bother me but when they started singing harmony
I knew it wasnÕt like the Cappuccino that we have at home

You whisper in my ear, I canÕt seem to get control
You let me draw you near, I can tell where this is going
I picture you and me, and my broken heart
I can always see the end before I ever see the start

I donÕt know if I want you to stay, but I canÕt bear to see you walk away
She said that we could have a good time tonight
I said " I really have to go."
